Job Summary

Aerosapien Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior BIM/VDC Engineer to support BIM modeling, clash detection, coordination, and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) activities for commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in BIM/VDC workflows and be capable of independently managing multidisciplinary coordination efforts while collaborating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and coordinate Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection BIM models.
  • Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage.
  • Generate and track clash reports through resolution.
  • Lead BIM coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Review models for constructability, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Create and maintain BIM execution plans and project standards.
  • Produce construction documentation, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built models.
  • Manage project data and workflows using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants throughout project lifecycles.
  • Support quantity take-offs, model reviews, and project deliverables.
  • Ensure BIM standards, quality control procedures, and best practices are consistently followed.
  • Mentor junior BIM engineers and modelers when required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on BIM/VDC experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and coordination processes.
  • Experience working on commercial, industrial, healthcare, mission-critical, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Software Expertise

The candidate must demonstrate advanced proficiency in the following software:

  • Autodesk Revit
  • Navisworks Manage
  • Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
  • BIM 360
  • AutoCAD

  • Revizto
  • Bluebeam Revu
  • Dynamo
  • Synchro 4D

  • Knowledge of prefabrication and modular construction workflows.
  • Experience supporting General Contractors, Design-Build Firms, and Engineering Consultants.
  • Ability to lead client-facing coordination meetings and present technical solutions.
