System & Network Administrator

Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain office servers, including Microsoft Windows Server, storage, updates, patching, backups, and performance monitoring.
Implement and enforce best practices to safeguard company data, including access controls, encryption, backup policies, and disaster recovery procedures.
Monitor, prevent, and respond to malware, ransomware, and cybersecurity threats.
Manage network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Configure, monitor, and support secure VPN access for remote users.
Provide IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, software applications, and user access.
Manage user accounts, email systems, permissions, and password policies.
Monitor system logs, security alerts, and incident reports; take corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain IT asset inventory, licenses, documentation, and coordinate with IT vendors and service providers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
3–6 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration.
Solid understanding of network management, VPN configuration, and firewall administration.
Strong knowledge of data security, cybersecurity best practices, and malware protection.
Good troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
